I’m having a winter wedding and after a month or so of being uninspired by any closed toe wedding shoes i’ve fallen in love with the idea of boots.
specifically these boots: http://www.bannsshedesigns.co.uk/BB18.htm & http://www.bannsshedesigns.co.uk/Bh%20sideboot.htm
but I just can’t work out what they’ll look like with a wedding dress. i’ve been googling wedding boots, bride in boots, bridal boots etc all evening and can only seem to find brides in wellies (rainboots) or cowboy boots – or just lots of sites selling these type of boots.
did any of you bees have this sort of boots? or is anyone better at googling than me? I really really want to find a pic of a bride in ankle/victorian boots!

What sort of dress do you have? I think these would look really cute with a vintage-y type dress, but not so much maybe with a ballgown? Just personal opinion!

I would check Offbeat Bride. I managed to find this bride in purple boots: http://offbeatbride.com/2008/05/the-purple-wedding-dress-to-rule-them-all but she went for a more goth style rather than a traditional one.
These purple boots are awesome too: http://offbeatbride.com/2009/10/grey-dress-purple-boots but not so much Victorian.
If you have a long dress, it might even take a special photo for anyone to see them: http://offbeatbride.com/2009/03/christie-reddress-wedding
This is probably the best one I found, though: http://saralynnpaige.com/blog/wedding/gettingready/ and I even know where she got those boots, because I’ve eyed them up in the past: http://www.oaktreefarms.com/

Wow, lots of replies.
thank you so much – these pics are great, exactly what I was trying to find.
My dress is long (floor length) with ruffles and quite modern. Its a line with a corset top.
You probably wouldn’t even see them that much – just dont want them to look odd as i get out of the car or walk up the aisle.
