I’m trying to print off my invitations and I’m using the Brides invitation sets. Every time I try to print on the card stock it comes out messy like it is having problems adhering to the card stock. I’ve adjusted the paper quality and I’ve tried “card stock,” “heavy,” and “rough paper” and it doesn’t seem to improve. Are there any tips? Something I’m not thinking of? An issue with the set I bought (eek i hope not)?
The SKU is 76207. I’m printing on a laserjet printer (uses a toner cartridge).
Any help I can get will be GREATLY appreciated!!

I used these and some had a little black dot, but the majority were fine. Honestly, I don’t know that much about printers, so that’ss all I have. Good luck.

@TheFutureMcBride: do you happen to know if you used a laserjet printer or an inkjet printer?
i feel like it’s the laserjet and the way the ink goes on the paper but i’m not sure. i tried it on my parents inkjet and it seems ok. blah printer issues.

I just read 2 whole threads about those invitations and saw laser will NOT work – the ink won’t stick to the paper. It has to be inkjet. I haven’t done these (yet) but I just read that this morning. 🙂

@MissBoston: o wow. i didn’t see those (probably because i was too busy freaking out lol). thanks so much for the confirmation on the printer issue! it actually makes me feel a lot better knowing it wasn’t really my little printer’s problem.

Check post 17:
I used Michael’s invitations as well! They turned out to be breathtaking!
DO NOT use a laser printer. I did this first and the “ink” did not stick to the paper/material. It smeared right off, even after “drying” for days. I eventually had to request replacements. They gave them to me for free, but after saying that the laser printers DO work. They are wrong. Mine were terrible.
Second time around–I used my inkjet and it turned out perfect!
