I’m 30 and I will be having four–two FSILs and two of my girlfriends.  My fiance will have a best man and my two brothers.

I will be 30 by the time we get married. We’re having a large wedding of 200 and I have 5 bridesmaids. Not much of a choice there. I was Maid/Matron of Honor for three of my friends and I have two sisters. So, it’s five. My Fiance only chose 4 groomsmen, but I am totally okay with the uneven wedding party as long as he was and he is 🙂 So I think, do whatever you think is right!

I will be 31 when we get married, and I still have a large bridal party.  6 full-fledged bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaids (my nieces).  When I say 8, I feel a little silly, but when I break it down like that, it sounds a bit more reasonable.  Plus I’ve known these 5 girls plus my sister would be my bridal party for years.

I’ll be 32 by the time the wedding rolls around and I will have 3; 1 Maid/Matron of Honor and 2 BMs. Each one represents different stages in my life; mostly, one from each location I’ve lived thus far: KY, IN, MO.

For smaller weddings, people often opt for 1 or 2, if any at all. Do what makes you most comfortable. If you do not want anyone, but your Fiance has 10, split them up and have 1/2 on your side and 1/2 on his.

we had small vegas wedding and while no one was official bridesmaids two dear friends took control once we were there.  I asked the guests to all wear blue. The shade determined by a beaded bracelet I sent out six months prior. So, while I had no official bridesmaids the photos look like we had an entourage.

Question: I was a bride’s maid in a good friend’s wedding back in 2004 but we have greatly lost touch since then. She lives 300 miles away and has a small child. Am I obligated to ask her to be in the wedding? I don’t mind either way, I just don’t want to offend her if I don’t. If it wasn’t for Facebook, we probably wouldn’t talk anymore and even with that, it’s only the occasional “hope you get over your cold” type comment.

Im 31 and I have decided not to have any bridesmaids.  I’m getting married in Mexico so I thought it would be too much if I also asked them to buy a dress on top of their trip.

I’m 35 and I have 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man my two best friends and my fiance’s sister. I will also have a flower girl and 2 ring bearers. I’m also probably going to wind up with 200 people at this thing (yikes).

Even when I was younger I never would have had a posse of bridesmaids – I never was the type to have that many friends (and I like it that way).

I am having 5, but only because I can’t bring myself to have less because it would mean excluding someone important.

I have my 3 best friends and in our group of 4, have all been each others maids and I am the last to get married. I then have my brother’s wife, and they have been married 12 years so we are very close, and I am also having my FI’s only sister.

I’ll be 33 and I’m not having any bridesmaids, although I will have a “Lady of Honor” (I hate the word “maid”!), and my Fiance will have a “Best Woman.”

I am 37 and I only have a Maid/Matron of Honor and my 16 yeard old daughter will be my 1 bridesmaid.  Simple enough.
