I was think of buying white Vivienne Westwood eyeglass frames with her little orb + cross in rhinestones on them for my wedding! Just like Marilyn said, I just love finding new places to wear diamonds 🙂

Yep, I’m wearing my glasses. I tried contacts but they really drove my crazy so I haven’t used them in years. I don’t want to look like someone else, and most people don’t recognize me without my glasses!

Definitely wear your glasses on your wedding day if you wear them all of the time. I agree – you want to look like “you” on your wedding day.

I had a few people begging me up until I walked down the aisle to take my glasses off (ahem, mom). I wore them because I wear glasses every day in order to SEE! I did take them off for the formal portraits after the ceremony to appease the masses, though.

Just a FYI.  Contacts have become soooo  much more comfortable. If you haven’t tried them in a few years you might be pleasantly surprised. I use daily disposables and they are like wearing nothing at all. They never build up protein and never get that scratchy feeling.  But if you love your glasses, that’s all that counts!

amberback:  I’m wearing mine!

I also have been asked if I’m wearing my glasses. Well,of course I am! I’ve been wearing them since I was 8! Why wouldn’t I want to look like myself on my wedding day lol plus,my fiance says I’m a bit cross eyed without them! Haha!!

I’m going to aim to wear contacts for the ceremony and photos…then see how I go for the reception.

amberback:  I’ve had similar problems with contact lenses, I wore them every day for about 10 years and then had the same problem! All of a sudden at about 21 years old, my eyes became so irritated with lenses. Annoyingly, now my eyes are even irritated with glasses (constantly need eye drops!)
