@meke:  The winery is located in Vale it’s right near Lincolnton, I’m not sure if you’ve heard of those places or not. It’s kind of out in the middle or nowhere! lol We attended my FI’s cousins wedding there a few years ago and I just thought it was beautiful out there. Plus there weren’t too many other options around where we live, and I liked that we could have everything in one place! The wine unfortunately is not part of the package, you just get to pick which ones you want served. They’re also going to make Sangria for us, but that cost extra too. You can’t have liquor there either and if you want beer you have to pay a $250 surcharge and then bring in your own beer, so we are just gonna stick with the wine, it’s tasty! Paying extra for the alcohol isn’t really a big deal though cause we were able to book the whole place for under $2,000 which I thought was pretty good! What part of NC do you live in?

This is the historic mansion we’ll be having the wedding at!  The garden will be the ceremony site while cocktail hour and dinner will be on the terrace (the last photo). I’m obsessed with our venue!!

Everyone’s venues are so pretty! I really enjoy seeing pictures of the venues. Keep the pics coming ladies! Here is our venue.

Our original venue ended up being for sale but I am so excited that we are getting married here!!!! I love this venue more than our original one.

Here is the ceremony space and if it rains, then we will have the ceremony in the ballroom.

Here is the ballroom.

I’m actually having a teeny bit of venue regret, mostly because I’ve realized that our photos will be limited to being ON the ship the entire time.

Our reception site is an old grand train station that has been turned into a banquet hall. Every room is just so grand and majestical. We can’t wait until the big day!
