I don’t know this person but thought I would share with my fellow bees.
Andrea had a very special dance with some very close family and friends at her wedding. Her father passed away so her brother recored “butterfly kisses” and she danced with with all of them during her Father and Daughter dance. it was a truly touching moment not a dry eye in the house.
Her dad, Mark, died earlier in the year from pancreatic cancer. Andrea’s first dance is with Mark’s father, followed by her brother Luke, then brother Nick and finally her new father-in-law Scott.
WARNING…Get the Kleenex ready!!

That was so nice! I have no idea what I am going to do for the father daughter dance. My father passed away in 2009 from cancer. I’m not close with my brothers really and my father in law is out of the country. I’ll have to think on this.

My dad passed away two years ago and I’m going to skip the dance altogether. Everyone who is attending the wedding obviously knows my dad is not with us. I think dancing with someone else or doing something special would just make everyone cry and i dont want to to that.
I would never ever take away the mother/son dance from my fiance and his mom. It’s his wedding too and im sure his mother has been looking forward to it since he was a little boy.
I’ve asked the DJ to play a happy song at an appropriate time that reminds me of my dad (“These are my people”). That way it’s not a memorial that will make everyone sad, it will just be a song dedicated to him on a happy day.
