We were 22 when we got married. We had always talked about waiting until our late 20s-early 30s to have kids. Best laid plans though. We got a surprise and were 24.

I was 24 when we got married, he was 25 but turned 26 on our honeymoon. We really wanted at least a year if not two before having kids. We found out this month we are expecting! so we got our year 🙂  I’ll be 26 at the end of the month and my husband turned 27 in february.. With a January due date that keeps ust at 26 and 27 (he will almost be 28)

Hopefully no kids but if I get pregnant by accident, hopefully before 30. Too many risk factors for me after 30.

I had my daughter when I was 19. Fiance has his son when he was 25.

We don’t plan to have one together for another 5 years, minimum. I will be 27 at that time and Fiance will be 38.

I’m 23(will be 24 for only a few days before we’re married) but he’s a little older. I already have a child. I’d be happy having more children anytime now.

I am 21 and my FH is 22. We will be married at the end of this year, and we will both be starting our professional careers by next January. He is a mechanical engineer, and I will become a CPA (after meeting a 1 year experience requirement). Neither of us have student loans, so we are thinking by 2016 we should be in very good financial condition. I will be 25 and my FH will be 26 when we are planning to have our first child.

I’m 22 and he’s 25, but whenever we get married I’ll still be 22 and he’ll be 26. We’ll probably start trying within 3-5 years mainly due to me wanting to have a few years within my job under my belt. We definitely want to have at least one kid before he’s 30.

I said 18-20 purely because I had my daughter this year and I’m 20 haha. Ideally, probably 25.

I just got freaked out by the question lol and I don’t know why!

I am selfish 🙁 and want to travel and accomplish all my goals. Just me and Fiance before we have any kids. Ideally, absolutely no kids before 27, but would like to have my first before 30. I like 29 🙂 but that might easily get extended

I think it’s hilarious when people they want to travel before having kids, while I get the best of both worlds.

I commend the people that are waiting when they aren’t ready, though. Kids are supposed to be a blessing, not a burden.

preface ..my phone wont let me use symbols or capital letters or spell check so i promise i dont usually type like this. anyway to anwser the previous poster who asked how couples who decided to ttc young compare to their friends..the anwser is normally haha ive never met anyone who waited until they were 30 to have chilrdren and its very uncommon where i live. unfortunatley a lot of girls have children in highschool but the married ladies..who marry out of high schoool btw have children young too. im no exception getting married at 19 to my 24 year old husband. ideally i would have my first child at 21 and my second at 24 or 25. its just a personal prefrance i dont want to be 30 having children. im not the first of my friends to marry but i will probably be the first to have a baby on purpouse.

I’m 22 & FH is 23 [but will be 23 & 24 when we marry] & neither of us are in any rush whatsoever to have children!  We love our time together, our semi-financial stability, our freedom, & our sleep haha.  I’ve always dreamt of having children, but at this point in my life, I have no desires at all.  FH doesn’t care either way, so we’re just going with the flow & enjoying life as we have it right now :].

I’m 18 now, will be 20 when Fiance and I get married, but we’re not sure if we want children or not yet. If we DO decide to go that route, I’ll probably be 26-28 before trying. That means FH will be 37-39 when we attempt his first kid! Hah.
