@Polygon: My sister has very thick hair and we’re always arguing that we want each other’s hair. She gets constant headaches because her hair is so thick and she tells me she wishes she could use the “skinny hair tie” that I use to put up all my hair. Haha. Us women are never satisfied, huh? Haha!

@SouthernBee33: Hmmm… Not that I can recall… I always tease the heck out of the base of the part where I am going to put the clip. Then put the clip in the matter area. If you do that, it keeps them very sturdy. Otherwise they can def slip out.

@FutureWifeyV: What length did you get? OR what would you recommend I get?

@SouthernBee33: Yes, Bellami is an online company only. You can read tons of reviews on blogs and there are many YouTube video reviews. Also many videos about clipping in/styling extensions.
I haven’t done tons of research, but Bellami’s definitely aren’t the cheapest available, nor the most expensive. Perhaps go to Sally’s beauty supply to have a look at some clip-in extensions in person to get a feel for what you want.

@cdncinnamongirl: How did you do on your color selection? I’m guessing I’m chocolate brown.
Or…maybe dark brown now that I look at a model with the color…

Try Bellami, they’re all the rage with the YT and Instagram Beauty Gurus… I’m thinking of getting a pair myself.

@SouthernBee33: Above the place where you select your hair color there is a pink link that will show you color. Once I got my extensions in the mail I compared them to the color on the screen and it looked the same, so from my experience they are pretty true to color. I did have to dye mine, as I purposefully ordered a lighter shade! If you’re unsure, they have a link on the left that can show you celebrities hair that the colors are closest to. If you’re still too skeptical, you can actually send them a photo of yourslf and they will recommend a color for you!
I got the 20 inch and they go to the middle of my stomach, however I am only 4’11! I will show you a photo for reference.

That is my normal hair, it goes just to the top of my shoulders. (LOL at my outfit. It was ugly sweater day at the nursery I work in!)
And this is me with my hair extensions in. I’m obviously going to have to get them styled to blend with my short hair, this was just a “let’s throw these on real fast just to try them out” shot. 😉

And then this is my hair in a braid

@FutureWifeyV: Those look great! You’re so little! Hehe. I’m 5’7″ and my Fiance is 6’6″ so he towars over me! The color matches perfect to your natural color! I think I’ll go with a 20″ because my hair is already around that length and I’m looking for the thickness factor. Thanks so much for your help!

Locks and bonds extensions. These are 3 colors blended and are micro links. The company have tape extensions and clips as well. If your hair is long you could just use the quad weft which is to add volume. It only costs 65ish! The hair is awesome and lasts a very long time. I kept these in 4.5 months and will reuse then at some point. I got nothing but compliments

Mine were probably closer to 350 but having them put in can get up to 1k. There are tons of tutorials so if you had help you could do it in a few hours. Also I went on our honeymoon and swam and went scuba diving and they are still in great shape.

tight ringlets then I turn my head upside down and shake with a light spray.

@SouthernBee33: thanks so much, you’re so sweet!
Im 5’9″ and these were 22 and 24″ then I layered them. I’d seriously look into the quad wefts so you don’t just have lots of extra extensions that you probably don’t need for just volume. These were soft and curled like a dream. I’ll attach a really curly pic too!

@alishaloo: mine is SUPER thin. I used to take biotin and fish oil. It helped me with it being more shiny but not thicker. My issue is I loose a TON of hair. It’s so aggravating.
Your hair is beautiful!
@Chrissy26: I love the curly curls! I think I’ll end up going with a 20-22″
