I haven’t seen many brides to be in white. I thought with my skin tone, it looked way better and made me pop more, and my hair is a bit darker now:) Ivory was just not as flattering. I was set on white! I am wearing Allure 8764. I know ya’ll have seen it alot but I love it!!
Show me your white dress!
not fitted yet on top or buttoned all the way but lovvvve it!

Youre dress looks gorgeous on you!!
I, too chose white white because I actually look very good in white. Ivory was okay, but I just didn’t feel as pretty!

I “have” (I mean, I know I can do whatever I want, I guess) wear white to match my fiance’s dress blues (white pants). I hope I look good in white!

Kudos to you ladies! Ivory was more flattering on me. White would have been much more convenient to match the men.

I’m wearing true white too! I tried on diamond white, ivory, soft white, and white white. Honestly everything but stark white looked too dark to me! I couldn’t get past it so white it is. While I was at David’s Bridal for my bridesmaids a dad walked in to pick up his daughter’s dress. He walked up to the big display of the White by Vera Wang dresses and loudly said “Why are all the wedding dresses that dirty shade of yellow now!?!?” I about fell over laughing. Most brides didn’t think it was quite as funny. Whoops!!!

I’m wearing white, too! I don’t have a picture ATM, though 🙁
Question for you true white brides: what are your accessories like? My flowers are “white” (which, for real flowers, actually means ivory), and my linens & decor are a mix of white & ivory, so I’m torn on what to do for my hairpiece (i.e. white or ivory). I feel like an off-white flower might actually be a nice contrast and help tie in all the different whites. Just curious what everyone else is doing!

@les105: I did callas for my flowers but my other accessories were basically bling, lol.

@TiffanyBlue91011: Oh, good point. That is one flower that is very white naturally. I’m doing mostly roses & hydrangeas, so I’m worried about mixing everything up enough.
I do love bling, though 🙂 I bought super sparkly earrings & a blingy bracelet!
