I wore a whole lot of nothing… we checked out late and went for lunch… alone.

I haven’t bought a dress yet, but I am planning on a cute sun dress, just keeping it casual.

@whitums:  HAHA!  Love this 🙂

@stacielizzi:  I am planning on a casual dress and flip flops.  I wear dresses all the time in the summer, so its not like dressing up for me.  I wouldn’t dress up unless you’re dying to wear a dress you didn’t get the chance to!  You’ll have the new wife glow… thats all you need!

Yeah- pretty sure I ended up in sweats and a t-shirt because I forgot to bring anything nicer! I was also completely exhausted and all we did was go back to my parents house with everyone, so it wasn’t super fany.

I assume you’re planning a breakfast as another wedding event?

We aren’t, so I will be in pajamas…or naked…and eat breakfast in freakin’ bed.

If you’re doing a big family thing, I think it would depend on how late you will be at your reception, where you’re having breakfast, and how many people will be there…and if you plan on having any pictures taken!

I wore my bathing suit and a cover up.  My parents had a big brunch at their house and we all hung out by their pool.

I think it depends on where/when your breakfast is.

All my family and guests stayed in the same hotel, and we were leaving for our honeymoon the next afternoon, so we put the word out that we would be getting the included (nice) breakfast from our hotel around 9 and whoever wanted to was welcome to join us. I’d say about 20 or 30 people trickled in and out for the couple hours we were down there and I wore a black jersey-knit maxi skirt, black flip flops, and a light pink tank top with my new Mrs. Lastname on it. Pretty casual!

The morning after the wedding we will be staying in our hotel suite, maybe going for a stroll, maybe getting massages, and since NO ONE is going to know our secret hotel location, we will be wearing hopefully nothing. Wink

Its a “Clothing Optional Sunday”

I’m going to be wearing comfortable clothes and eating whatever they are serving for breakfast on the plane since we’ll be catching our flight at 6:00am!

I wore a casual sundress.  It happened to be a new dress, but I didn’t buy it just for that.  I bought it because I liked it and wanted a new addition to my closet, and then I wore it for the brunch.   You can make it as casual as you’d like, and feel free to wear something you already have and love.  For our rehearsal, I wore a sundress I’ve had for years upon years, that was actually a hand-me-up from my little sister.  For my bachelorette, I wore a dress that I’d already had (and had bought at Target).  I looked great at all events (if I may say so myself 🙂  There’s no need to make every wedding related event a reason to go poor on new dresses.  Unless you would like to buy new stuff that you’ll wear again and again later.

I wore a silk white maxi dress with a blue design on it.  DH and I had breakfast at the hotel and then headed over to my parents house for their day after brunch.
