No regrets on not wearing a veil.

I actaully wore a veil but it fell off after the ceremony so I just kept it off. I wore some rhinestone comb thingys in my hair

@Gabthebee:  Not wearing a veil either and planning on something like this… I look too young with my hair down – don’t want to look like a child playing dressup!  (Side note: I’m actually 29.  But at 23, I was carded trying to get into an R rated movie… So yeah, I look much younger)

@Gabthebee:  Haha, 17 apparently.  I didn’t know either.  I think there was a slow motion turnaround to my friends with a “how old do you have to be?!”  People in the lines were very entertained.

ETA:  Oh Gawd, I just realized I was actually 25 when that happened…

I wore a veil for the ceremony but knew I was going to take it off as soon as it was over. With that in mind, I choose a hairstyle and a tiara that would be beautiful by itself without a veil.

Here’s my hair from the back:

Here’s a front view:

No veil for me, either. I used some curved jeweled combs.

I wore mine down with 40s inspired curls & an amazing headpiece bought from Etsy. it was kinda nice not having to deal with a veil, especially since I have betty bangs & was afriad they’d get ruffled and flat from it. & I also loved being able to see my facial expressions in all the photos later

My hair was a beautiful half up/down look. I didn’t wear a veil – just the gorgeous ivory comb you see. 🙂
