Im subscribing to this. I am thinking of not having a veil.Im just not sure. I cant imagine spending 189 for a silly veil!! Not sure. Brides look beautiful without them I think.

I think that sometimes the veil takes away from the dress and the hair….Im not planning on wearing one. I am going to get just a headband with some sparkle in it!!!!

I didn’t want to wear a veil at all, but then I decided I would wear one more as an accessory than a bridal veil… so I tucked a very simple veil underneath my updo. It made me feel a bit more bridal without being overly traditional or ‘dramatic’ (if that word makes sense). Here are some pics from different angles:

I had a veil just for the ceremony so here are pictures with and without:

Two tiered veil (shortly after this pic one layer covered my face- religion)

Without veil and without jacket, but with a modified headband (which stayed on the whole night):

I personally didn’t find a reason to stay with a veil on the whole night, it is hot and messy enough as it is (dress, heels, sweat from dancing, and with all the stress etc…) I think that a veil adds but it is def. not a must, you can look gorgeous without it as well!

Hope this helps!

I bought one but I didn’t want to wear it. I intended to wear it just for the ceremony and the flower fascinator for the rest of the time but I ended up forgetting it at the hotel! I’m so glad I went without it! The fascinator had a little netting that just made it feel so bridal and I think it pulled the whole look together.
