No tiaras for me. My veil has a hair comb attached to it, and I will switch to a different comb for the reception:

I am not a Tiara bride, but about 1 week before my wedding realized i needed SOMETHING so I found some beautiful delicate hair jewelry that matched the beading in my dress and had them placed on the right side of my bun.

Tiaras can be lovely, they are just not my style . . . But then again, neither are headbands.  I think it goes back to the early ballet and gradeschool years with too tight buns and tiaras for recitals, and getting a headache from wearing plastic headbands!  I am wearing a veil (attached by a comb) which I will remove for the reception.

I’m wearing some jeweled bobby pins to add some sparkle to my hair.  And a veil.  No tiara for me!

I have no intentions of wearing one and haven’t come across any bride in real life wearing one at anytime either. I’ve only ever seen them reserved for royalty and kids’ dress up costumes.

Definitely no tiara. Probably not even a veil, but a headband instead. I also have an adorable mini-top hat for our New Year’s Eve reception.

I wore a hair flower with my veil on top.  Then I removed the veil for the reception.

The only time I’ve really loved a bidal tiara is my grandmother’s…but that’s because I think of her as a queen and I’m sentimental about her wedding, haha! It’s not my style otherwise. I’d like to have flowers in my hair. Not a big fascinator, but a few small fresh blooms, as an elegant and natural touch to my updo.

My dress is lace, unembellished, and my veil is cathedral length with a simple white edging. There’s really nothing blingy about my ensemble at all, which I’m happy about. I’m not a blingy kind of gal. Some brides are great at rocking their bling, and I’d rather see them wear it than me! 🙂

I did not wear a tiara- just a veil and a flower in my hair. I am not a fan of tiaras at all!  I think headbands are really pretty though!

No tiara in my future.. didn’t even consider it.. but I do think I want some bling in my hair (or flower) … we’ll see what my hairdresser can pull  off!
