My ring is beautiful. I have had a few problems with the stones getting loose and have had to send it out twice but we got it within a week of ordering it.

@alyssaC:  I’m not sure how long it took, but I know it was longer than he expected, and when it arrived it was 3 sizes bigger than what he had ordered. I have a word of warning for you though, all 3 times I had to send mine away (resizing, repair to damage they caused during resizing, and reshaping from where they thinned my ring for some reason) it has taken 5-6 weeks, regardless of their “promise date” of 3 weeks.

ETA: Overall, worst experience of my life. The last time they tried to charge me for damage they caused. We got it worked out (I had to essentially yell at the manager, who was extremely rude) and I will never step foot in that store again.

Mine took about 2 weeks to come in. I’ve had it for over 2 years now and the only issue I’ve had is the white gold rubbing off on the back of the ring but that’s pretty common. I have the lifetime warranty so I can get it redipped at any time, I just don’t want to lose it for a week.

@alyssaC:  There are poor experiences with every jewelry store so don’t let a few bad reviews worry you.

Is it a Vera Wang ring?  My friend fell in love with one and the lady told her they take about 12 weeks.

@alyssaC:  Mine was immediate since it was purchased out of the case. As for customer service I’ve never had a problem. I’ve been wearing my engagement ring for over 1.5 years, channel wedding band for 2 months, and I’ve also been wearing a lecklace that has a pendant with diamonds in it that came from Zales for about 6 years and haven’t had an issue with them yet. My chain broke from an accident and they fixed it and had it back to me in about 2 weeks. Maybe I’ve just had good luck with the few Zales stores I’ve been to but I’ve always been treated very nice.

My ring (and wrap) is from Zales and we have (for the most part) had a great experience.  It usually takes 1-2 weeks to get them back for whatever I have sent them in for

Hubby bought my first ring from Zales and when he told the sales lady my ring size (3.5), she did not believe him so when the ring came back it and he was ready to propose it was 6.5. LOL I had to wrap tape around the bottom to keep the ring on.

2 years later we used their trade in, upgrade policy and got a different e-ring and just picked a solitaire and it only took 5 days for us to get it back resized. But I did pay $10 for a rush order and it came back in the correct size.

If I had posted yesterday I would have said I was happy with my experience at Zales.  They were wonderful with the engagement ring.  My fiance picked out a Vera Wang.  Of course, it was 6.5 or whatever so it was HUGE on my size 4 finger.  They gave him the ring so that he could propose and ordered a brand new ring (vs the one in the store that had been tried on by other people).  He wanted me to have one that no one else had worn.  So, they were going to have to order it, get it in and then send it off for sizing.  Once it was back, we would bring back the ring he proposed with and I would get “my” ring.  They received the new ring within a week, had it sized and it was back in three weeks.  Easy, peasy.  All good!

Fast forward to about four weeks ago.  We go to the same Zales, pick out my wedding band and to through the same process.  We want a new one, then sized.  We live about 3 hours away from the closest Zales.  So, my fiance was in the area this week and stopped by to find out the status of the ring.  He is told today that it is now taking 12 WEEKS TO GET THE RINGS IN.  UMMMMMM a phone call would have been nice seeing as how my wedding is ONE MONTH from tomorrow.  I am so devistated.  They have offered to give us a ring to use until it comes in but now all of my wedding pictures won’t be with MY ring.  I am SO SO upset.  This is THE LAST time I will ever shop at Zales.  Fiance was there to pick out his wedding band and left the store, purchased somewhere else.

@southernbeelle:  would it be possible for you to find the band in one of the stores and just have it sized to fit you?  obviously it wouldn’t be brand  new that way but I feel like it might be a better scenario

I think it took a week or two to come in (sorry can’t remember exactly). We’ve had a really really horrible experience with them.
