My future husband and I have 7 month old twin boys who I am still breastfeeding and probably still will be at our wedding in 3 months(eeK!)
Just wondering how you managed your baby’s schedule on the day of the wedding especially in the later part of the evening(like near bedtime)? Did you have to cut your reception short to put them to bed? What adjustments did you make?

We arent’ getting married for another year, and my daughter will be 2.5. We are planning to have a babysitter bring her home around 8 or nine, once the party starts to liven up and she starts to get cranky. I would designate someone (or two people in the OP’s instance) to watch over them throughout the whole day so you don’t have to worry about them. My parents are doing that for my little one.
If they’re 10 months at the time of the wedding they will be eating solids mostly, so other guests can help feed them during dinner (my daughter was done with all the purees and just wanted real food at 8 months) and you wouldn’t have to pump too much for the nighttime bottles (if you can, I had a lot of trouble pumping since I went back to work after 6 months, but continued to pump until I couldn’t anymore, at 9 months). Good luck!

At the time of our wedding, our daughter was 11 months. We did NOTHING! My mom and older sister held her, fed her, played with her, while we mingled and danced. Perhaps have the babysitter there and pump for the big day. Good luck.
