What do you mean pairing? Flowers, shoes? We’re doing sunflowers and other yellow flowers for the bouquets and bouts, and we’re doing whatever shoes they want (I also didn’t choose a specific dress, just black and knee length, so there’s not a whole lot that I did specify).

ETA: Oh, re-reading I think you mean just what your other colors were. Our colors are black and white with a pop of yellow (e.g. in the flowers and some of the decor).

I put my Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man in black dresses for my wedding because they wanted something they could use over again. My bridesmaid became pregnant a few months ago, so we picked a new dress for her, so I’ll show you everything I am using plus the old Bridesmaid or Best Man dress before she became pregnant.

Maid of Honor dress found at Alfred Angelo:

Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid shoes found at Payless:

Bridesmaid materinity dress found online:

The dress will be purchased in black with the same pink as my MOH’s dress.

Old Bridesmaid or Best Man dress found at David’s Bridal:

The dress would be paired with a champagne sash (same color as my dress), sash found at David’s Bridal & cheaper on Amazon.com:

Their bouquets will be very small, but I’ll be using the bold yellow sunflower for the bridesmaid, and a pink daisy with a yellow sunflower for the maid of honor.

@peachbaby4008:  we are accenting with red and gold as a nod to FI’s chinese heritage. Our venue(s) are decorated red and gold already.

I was in a wedding a few years ago where we wore black dresses and different animal-print shoes (leopard, zebra, giraffe), and had pretty white, green and lavender colored flowers with navy ribbons. I think the rest of the decor was navy blue, purple/lavender, and I think gold? She sort of had a peacock thing going on, I guess… anyway, it looked really nice! Sorry I can’t find a good picture to share though.

My bridesmaids are wearing the dress at the top, my junior Bridesmaid or Best Man is wearing the dress on the bottom left, and my adorable flower girls are wearing the tutus. The earrings are for my bridesmaids. I ordered small dark red studs for my junior bridesmaid. They’re all carrying black magic roses.

My bridesmaids are wearing black silk chiffon dresses.

We don’t really have a color scheme, but more an ‘Old New York’ feel.  Our decor incorporates black, ivory, red, silver & gold.

We are doing reddish flowers (centerpieces & bouquets) with red roses, magenta peonies, and black love roses, and burgundy ranunculas.

Mom of the bride & groom are wearing silver & gold (respectively).

Our invitations & other stationery/printed material is on ivory cardstock with black font & red & silver accents.

Our venue has ivory accents & amber uplighting, with gold chiavari chairs.  Tablecloths & napkins will be ivory.
