So I’m wearing blush and my bridesmaid is wearing Navy.

It comes in purple, too Adrianna Papell Dress

I think a bold jewel tone actually looks nice against a soft blush color. The contrast is nice.

I don’t have a blush dress but I do love them! Your dress is gorgeous! I agree with the PP that a deep jewel toned purple would look nice! However if I did blush I definitely would have done white bridesmaids dresses! I love how ethereal that would look!

kelbrimale :  mine was ivory over blush, and my bridesmaids were in mismatched blush gowns of their choosing – ranges from a champagne to a rose color, with my Maid/Matron of Honor in rose gold. I think it all worked (: this is the only pic i have on my phone atm

i didn’t have bridesmaids, but my friend did wear a bridesmaid dress to dinner. so while i didn’t pick the color, i can show how blush and bright blue look together. weirdly, this is the only photo i have of us that is full length. lolol

I think purple is going to be pretty difficult because you want it to have the right warmth for the undertone. But if you get it right it’ll be gorgeous. Can you bring a swatch of your dress when you pick out the bridesmaids dresses?

My sister in law got married in a gorgeous ivory-over-blush dress. Her bridesmaids wore deep jewel purple but honestly my favorite pairing was with her mom’s lilac dress.

kelbrimale :  I wore blush and my bridesmaids wore gold. Honestly, my blush dress photographed as looking white in most of the photos.

kelbrimale :  I had a blush wedding dress and my bridesmaids wore a wine color with mix and match styles. The groomsmen had grey pants, navy blue suspenders, and bowties with the wine and navy color. Our color palate was blush, wine, navy, and gold.

kelbrimale :  I didn’t have a blush wedding dress – or bridesmaids – but looking at your dress I can see that the colour is quite grayed out and muted.

I think the shade of purple that would go best with it would be a similarly muted shade like mauve or lavender, with a richer darker colour like plum or violet used only as a highlight such is being in the flowers or accessories. I think having a really rich tone of purple next to your dress would overwhelm it.

Here are some examples:

If you really wanted a darker or more vibrant purple in the bridesmaids dresses, including it as one of a mismatched shade might be the way to go:
