@LeSpice:  Thanks!Smile The most tedious part of the dying-back process is either stripping the red from your hair or attempting to dye over it…neither are all that great for your strands…oh well!!

No wedding photos for a while yet but I have natural red hair! I have dyed it bright red before too and I liked it a lot 🙂

I LOVE this board!!!!! I love seeing all the redheads, natural or dyed. I have been dying my hair for almost 5 years now and there is no way I will be walking down the aisle with anything but red hair. I have actually been thinking of going a bit brighter, maybe what I did when I first dyed my hair… (sorry couldn’t find a good picture)

Fun thread! I’m naturally mousy brown but have been colouring my hair red for something like 6 or 7 years. I wouldn’t have considered any other colour on my wedding day!

Only cell phone pics for now, sorry!

LeSpice:  I dye my hair red like yours.  Have been for… I don’t like like 15 years now.  My Darling Husband met me ONCE when we were kids before I dyed it and then when we re-met a couple years later it was already red.  I’ve been doing it so long and it’s so extreme that it’s so much part of who I am (not like the subtle red like variations, but like RED like yours).  So I left mine.  There was no question.

I waivered on if I would wear a white dress, because that so isn’t “me” and one of the other obvious options was wearing red, but it wouldn’t look good with my hair, so it was a non-option. Having that hair is *so* much me, I for sure had to have it.

So I obviously vote to keep it.  I did wind up wearing a white (with black) dress and the combination of the white dress and the red RED hair looked AMAZING.  Unless this is a new color for you, I say go for it!! 🙂

Mojito1213:  Yep! That’s exactly what mine looks like!  (Except I’m too lazy to curl it except for the wedding day!)  I am bias, of course, but I love love love your hair with your dress and the soft curls.

This is much more (I think) what OP was looking for than the natural red-head look.  Glad to see other brides rocking red hair. 🙂

I’m a natural redhead and haven’t colored my hair save for one time freshman year when I thought I could go darker, instead I turned eggplant! Never again!

My boyfriend and I are both natural reds. He is slightly orange while I am more of a red. Either way I cant wait to have some beautiful redheaded babies.
