I usually wear glasses but wear contacts sometimes as well (especially for sports/activities etc). I woud not plan to wear glasses for my wedding day. I don’t like the look of a flash or the reflection you sometimes see in photos when somone is wearing glasses. Also, I might cry and feel like crying eyes, glasses, and kleenex…not a good combo for me. Lol. I’d have to get more neutral glasses too my frames are red, navy & lime green, and brown & teal.

I wear glasses every day & contacts when going out or on weekends, but not every time. I will be wearing contacts on my wedding day. I think that glasses might age the photos as styles change so much. I also hope to look my best & don’t want to cover my face. In saying this, I’ll be putting my contacts in at the last minute so that they are as fresh as possible for the festivities & will take them out if my eyes get tired or dry near the end of the day.

I wear glasses every day and will be wearing them during the wedding. I don’t like contacts and I don’t want to have to deal with uncomfortable eyes the whole day of my wedding. But mostly, I just want to look and feel like myself. My fiance loves me in my glasses and said he’s happy I’ll be wearing them.

I get that it feels a little less “bridal”, but I think that’s just because we don’t see it that often. A friend of mine got married in her glasses and looked awesome.

Edit: Also I looked through several photos of me, and glare isn’t an issue in any of them, so it shouldn’t be an issue at the wedding.

I’ll be wearing glasses! They don’t look ancient! I never had contacts and want to feel like myself. Plus I think I look better with glasses. My family always says they don’t like me without glasses lol

i wore mine. that’s what i look like. i did get some brand new glasses so they weren’t bashed up and also a little more toned down than i usually go (usually really bold frames).

my photographer ocassionallyold me to move my head to prevent glare on them and i don’t notice my glasses in any ofthe photos, no glare or reflections in any of them.

Ditto on going glasses-less for a while and then putting them on (probably after the ceremony, but definitely by dinner – I’ll have a headache if I go any longer). Like @bluelagon I’m getting new glasses that are smaller than my huge Warby Parker hipster glasses and aren’t so smudged. Still planning on doing full eye makeup and lashes, too.

I’ll be wearing my glasses and so will my fiance… we can’t see without them.. and don’t look like ourselves! I made it a point to track down purple glasses to match my wedding (plus it’s my favorite color).
