I hadn’t really planned on wearing my glasses for our wedding, but I mentioned that to my DH and he kind of freaked out. I started wearing glasses a year before I met him, so according to him, my glasses are a part of me and I would look weird without them.

I could NOT wear glasses on my big day. It wasn’t happening. I’m allergic to contacts, but I did eye drops for months just so I could wear them for those few hours. So glad I did! But my husband wore his glasses and he looked fantastic! 🙂

SQUUUEEEE! You’re a fellow glasses wearer. Me too… and I wore mine on the day!

Thanks! I got them from coastal.com, I think they list the size of the frames if you’d wanna check it

@classical_wolf : please consider getting your lenses changed to those with anti-reflective coating! If you notice your photo, both you and your Fiance have a big white glare covering half your face! AR sometimes has a greenish or purplish glare tint, but like everyone else who has posted their photos in this thread, it doesn’t glare nearly as much. Don’t let it ruin your wedding photography 🙂

I will most likely be wearing mine. I just dont feel like myself without them.
And a close up of them. They’re purple with yellow and white stripes on the sides.

Here’s two with and one without. I made sure to have a nice mix of both. I feel like me in both of them 😀

Sorry the pics are huge.
I wore my glasses on my wedding day. I’ve worn almost the same style since before we were dating, and get terrible headaches without them. I can’t handle contacts, and like how glasses balance my face. I just did my usual eyes below the glasses, with a bit heavier mascara and liner.
The first photo is me pointing out my sorority badge, the second is with my husband, and the third is me showing my excitement over champagne. The first was from my simple point and shoot camera, and the last two were from the pro photog.

I have both glasses and contacts. I am switching to a more moist brand of contacts prior to the wedding because the ones I have now only stay in for about 4 hours before they are uncomfortable. I wear glasses most of the time due to this, but I had a better brand before and wore the contacts more often. I can’t wait to go back to that. I am NOT wearing my glasses on my wedding day. I feel sexier without them and I don’t want to have to shift them when they slide down my face. They are annoying sometimes. My Fiance wears glasses, and I am thinking that for either Christmas or Valentines I will gift him better glasses (I hate his current ones, they are awful and old) or he will have to try out contacts.

It’s pretty funny – I was 100% sure that I’d be wearing (or, rather, suffering through) contacts, but when my boyfriend heard that he went nuts! He said he was very much against it – I’m blind as a bat without glasses, and never wear contacts (oh the pain and discomfort…), so he says it wouldn’t be me without them.
However, I’m pretty sure I will still choose contacts, at least for the ceremony, and maybe get a lighter-colored frame for the reception.

I most likely will wear mine for the wedding. I can’t wear contacts. I think my glasses”hide” my eyes and that is a good thing for me, so they will be on!
