Honestly your teeth are not jacked up at all.  I actually had a “dead” front tooth and just last week had a crown put in (just for the wedding really)  but now i have a slight gap on the side..  but im still fine with it…oh well..If it really bothers you of how your pictures will turn out there are such things as “flippers”..  I am not sure how well they photograph but people in beauty pageants usually wear them when on stage smiling.  They are basically a mouth guard looking thing that goes over your teeth and they are all perfectly white straight teeth.  Im sure you can order them online if it truly bothers you.  Just an idea!

@iheartsquishy:  Thank you and you are welcome!  I’m not super comfortable sharing with the world how grossly crooked and ugly my teeth are, but I had to help a fellow crooked-tooth bride out.  When I got my wedding pictures back, I almost cried at how awesome I looked in the teeth-smiling pictures.  I honestly cannot tell you the last time any one has photographed me while teeth-smiling and I was pretty afraid of how that would look in my wedding pictures.  I expressed my concern to my photographer before hand and I’m sure she worked a little photoshop magic to make me feel better.

Oh girl! I feel you. I didn’t get braces either. And want to get Invisalign at some point.. but it just wasn’t feasible before the wedding! I worry about this some too.. and I am more of a smirker.. not a big teeth smiler, for the same reasons.. and I think it’ll all still look great 🙂 As long as you take care of your teeth, that’s all that matters! I will probably try to whiten mine a bit more.

Your teeth look like my best friends! She refused to get braces as a kid. She loved her teeth (still does), claiming they giver her character. She was the weirdest little kid running around talking about how her teeth fit her personality and such. She kept saying how cindy Crawford has her beauty mark, this is mine. And the guys all love it, because she owns it! It’s her cute little thing that she completely rocks!

OP- you will make a BEAUTIFUL bride! I did have braces, but still have a gap between my front two teeth and very small gaps between my side teeth to boot. I have always been a little self conscious about it, and I may do invisalign, but on my wedding day it was the last thing on my mind!!

In the picture on the right you can  see the gap:

@iheartsquishy:  I think your closed-mouth smile is very demure and elegant. Stick with that if you are self conscious 🙂 however, your teeth really aren’t that bad…your bridal glow would outshine any smile imperfection.

i have *two* gaps in my front teeth, and not one in the middle wihich i personally think is cute. they are on the sides. i used to only smile with my mouth closed and feel like i had to hide it all the time, but i have kinda given that up. your inner beauty affects your outer beauty and the only time i really notice my teeth in a bad way in pics is if i’m like fake smiling anyway

My teeth were straight until 2 years ago when my wisdom teeth made their debut. Now my front teeth are all smashed together and overlapping. I never smile showing my teeth now. I have wedding photo fears and told my photographer so she knows how I feel.
