So I am only having a Maid/Matron of Honor. I have chosen ‘Butterfly Waltz’ for my Maid/Matron of Honor to walk down to, and an instrumental version of ‘Over the Rainbow’ for myself.
In a way I’d love us to both walk (separately) to Butterfly Waltz as it’s so beautiful, however, I love the start of over the rainbow and the height it will give my entrance.
I want a little something for when I enter, not too over the top, but i feel if I walk in after her to the same song playing people might get confused. However, it also may seem silly playing each song for 30 seconds 🙁

@louiseW: If you have an awesome music technology person to somehow “meld” the songs together, then I think it would be perfect to have them each for just 30 seconds, otherwise I would agree that two unconnected songs for just 30 seconds each is a bit abrupt.

My brother and SIL got married two months ago and SIL just had a Maid/Matron of Honor. She had just one song, with Maid/Matron of Honor walking in to a prolonged intro and first part, and then she entered at the height of the song. The instrumentalist played the song in such a way that it became very dramatic and heightened when SIL made her entrance. It was very obvious that it was time for the bride. I think you could easily do just one song.
