I am a petite bride with narrow hips. I ordered a Wtoo Payton dress with a Tara Keely sash. I had the back to be a zip up as opposed to corset, which may not help my situation. I am having a little dress regret but this dress looked best on me since I have narrow hips. What dresses have worked well for you other brides with narrow hips to define your waistlines?

You can always have your dress altered to a corset back when your dress comes in. I think you picked out a great dress though!
I have narrow hips as well and prefer zip/button backs versus corset because I like the classier look of buttons, although I hear the corset is best in terms of a tight fit. I liked drop waists like yours, modified A-lines, fit and flare and trumpets — really anything that had volume in the skirt to give the illusion of hips. I also liked sashes and how they defined my waist therefore balancing me out.

Yes, I think that’s why I chose the have the dress made in a zip up back, despite the fact it was orginally a corset back. I thought it was a little more classy. I think my choice will work out well. I was just curious to see if other’s with slim hips went the same route as I did.:-) Thanks for your reply.

Unfornuately, I didn’t get a photo of me in the dress I chose. I will take one when it arrives for my fitting though. I did post some photos of me in other dresses I tried on in the dress journey thread.
