I have one on my right shoulder blade. It’ll probably show in my dress, and I’m OK with that. It’s me and I love it.

My treble clef will be covered up by my bolero for the most part, but I do intend to show it off at least once.  My parents were actually quite dismayed when I told them it would be hidden for the wedding.

“but it’s so pretty, and your dress is strapless…why don’t you want people to see it?”

I have 5 (one on each foot, 1 on ankle, 1 on lower back, 1 on lower stomach) none can be seen on my wedding day except the feet ones which I’m fine with. I’d actually like to get 2 removed b/c I don’t love them anymore (back & ankle) but I hear it’s expensive and painful.

I have two, one of a rattlesnake on the back of my left leg-It was my first one that I got back in ’89-and the other one is…..

My hubby’s first name on a banner with a dove on each side on my right sholder blade.  And yes, both could be seen, but my shoulder tat was kind of covered up by my veil.  I wore a strapless dress.  I will try to upload a pic from my work computer…

I have an ink blot-looking butterfly between my shoulder blades. It’s horrendous. But in a few weeks I’m getting it covered by a very pretty butterfly that will absolutely be visible in my dress!! You can’t really see it with my hair down but I’m wearing it up for the wedding.

I personally do not care for tattoos, just not my thing.  It is probably because my mother said that if I came home with a tattoo, she would cut it out with a butter knife.

I am torn… I love my tattoos and to cover them would seem to be, well, not ME.. but on the other hand the one on my left upper arm (not quite a half sleeve but close) is not finished.  It still needs color and with the wedding budget I don’t know if I will have the money to get it colored in by then.  I also have one on my back (upper, right below my neck) that I plan to get touched up before the wedding.  I think it’s very pretty, it’s just time for a touch up and that shouldn’t be too costly.

I actually am thinking about having my son “color in” my uncolored tattoo for the wedding with something.. marker?  I don’t know! It sounds like a crazy idea but he is very artistic. hey maybe henna?

I also have one small one that I do NOT like that might show based on the dress types I’m looking at.  Maybe I can use makeup on that one only.. it’s small.  I don’t want to cover my ink for the wedding; I just want it, as well as everything else, to look as good as possible!
