@MissComicBook:

I’m in the same boat as you!
It’s just makes me happy to see that there are young brides, and that I’m not crazy like everyone makes me out to be when I say I wish he would just propose already! 🙂

I haven’t read through all the posts yet, so how old are you? how old is so? how long have you been together?

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

@MissComicBook: I tried to talk to my dad a few months back about how serious our relationship is (they think we’re immature cause we’ve been dating since we were about 15 yrs old) and he just answerd ‘I don’t have to think about those stuff’.

@Miss Marbles: Yay! So great to see young brides! I feel so alone on here sometimes!

I am 20 and my SO is 25, October 27th marks two years of us being together, we’ve been ring shopping and I’ve picked out my beauty, so we’re just waiting for the funds to fall into place! I’m so excited!

How about you?

@Coffee cup: Wow. Just because you started dating when you were young doesn’t invalidate your feelings for each other.

Have you guys lived together yet?

@MissComicBook: Oh, so it should be coming soon! That’s the worst part, knowing that it’s coming but not knowing when! Eek!

I’m 21, SO is 25.  We have been together for 4 years, and have a (almost!) 2 year old little girl. I have no idea when it’s going to happen, he works 18 hours away for 3 weeks at a time.. so when he’s home on his 2 weeks I always wonder! Don’t want to get my hopes up though!

What kind of ring are you leaning towards?

@MissComicBook: No we haven’t. Original plan was to live together for 1 or 2 years before getting married, but we’re from catholic families and living together before marriage it’s awfully frowned upon. We were planning to do it anyways and were thinking about a 2013 wedding, but Fiance decided it was time to make it official and proposed 🙂

@Miss Marbles: I know! Every time we go ANYWHERE I’m like, he could do it now like this or later like this or maybe like this… He says he already knows how he is going to do it, but I’m just so antsy!

The ring we picked out was a gorgeous white gold band with a little twist. The original stone is a 1/5 ct. round but we’re going to switch it out for a 1/2 ct. marquis (sp?) I LOVE it! Can’t, can’t, can’t wait to wear it on my finger!

@Coffee cup: Aw that’s so sweet. If you guys can monetarily do it, I would highly reccomend it, you find out so much about each other and it’s much different when you can’t get away, you know?

@MissComicBook: Yes I do get the point and that’s the reason we wanted to do it, but we’re avoiding a whole lot of family trouble cause in my culture it’s really frowned upon.

I read about your ring, it sounds gourgeous. Congratulations!

@Coffee cup: Thanks! It’s not quite mine yet, but every once in a while I just feel like it’s missing from my finger. Like when you wear a ring for a while and take it off? Just like that, lol.

@MissComicBook: Haha it’s a phantom limb already. So do have a set date already or its just a probable one?

@Coffee cup: We are shooting for October 26th 2013. But, if we can’t get the funds for the ring this year it will be October 25th 2014.

I will be 24 in a month, and will still be 24 on our wedding day!  We have quite an age difference though, Fiance is 36 and will be 37 when we get married. 🙂

I am 24 now and will still be 24 when I get married. My fiance is currently 29 but he’ll be 30 by the time we get married.

Sometimes I get people saying “you’re so young” … and “people are getting married later in life these days” so I refer to the fact that my fiance is 5.5 years older and is “later in life”

It really only bothers me when sometimes I think my sister is thinking I’m too young – she just got married 2 months ago at 28.

I will be 24 and my FH will be 25 when we get married, people have been asking when we will get married since we were like 19/20. Most of our friends are already married (or not) with babies. Must just be the area.
