I am getting married on 4/25/15 and the bridesmaids have ordered their dresses.
They are by Alfred Angelo and in the “berry” color.

I was originally going to do a blingy gold belt (my colors are gold, blush, berry and ivory) but I’m having trouble finding one I like that I think would work so I’m thinking about maybe doing statement necklaces instead.
I have found two designs that are top contenders.
Chico Emma Bib Necklace
Second one: The Limited Cluster necklace (2 color options) Blush:
Second color option: (Gold)

lunabelle83: I would keep looking, for something besides statement necklaces. I’ve never liked wearing them cause I feel like I have a short neck. If my friend asked me to wear it for her wedding, I would, but it’s something I would donate or give away soon after the event.
The dress is gorgeous!

Love the dress, but I’m really not a fan of matching accessories- the matching dress looks cohesive, but when it is worn too matchy match on grown women it just looks a bit odd. And like MrsYellowDaffodil said, statement necklaces look odd on many people, not to mention are often heavy and uncomfortable. I would ask them to do gold jewlery- you can even ask for a statement piece- whether it is a necklace, bracelet, or earrings. I think that would look totally glamorous. You could even give them a couple designers or styles to choose from.

lunabelle83: That second one is gorgeous! That was my vote…

Guess I am going against the norm of posts here but I love statement necklaces for bridesmaids, and I am going to be doing something similar.
Also while I love the Chica necklace thought I might recommend a few others also!
Forever 21 Faux Gem Necklace
Lulu’s Pretty Gold Necklace

I like the second one to wear around but it doesn’t seem like a good necklace for bridesmaids. I can’t put my finger on why but it just doesn’t. I would keep looking.

Why not let your BMs pick their own jewelry? Speaking from experience, anything a Bridesmaid or Best Man gets as a “prop” for someones wedding ends up being thrown away, donated, or stashed in the back of a closet….neevr worn again and a waste of $$
