Hello. I’m thinking of using this dress for my bridesmaid. I haven’t found much out there that I LOVE without them looking too “bridesmaid-y, poofy, etc.” I like the more cocktail dress look…and I want the girls to be able to wear these again. I found this dress and its gorgeous. Fitted and flattering.
What do you think?
Of course the picture doesn’t do it justice. the color is like a pewter, gunmetal. It looks more blue in the pic…but it’s not

First off, I’m super biased, because that’s pretty much the colour of MY bm dresses.
But I vote a resounding, definite YES. It’s not so bridesmaid-y that they won’t wear it again, its in a nontraditional colour (again, points for re-wearability), and it just works! And you can accessorize the heck out of it, if you wanted to.
The only thing I would be concerned about is if you have a bigger bridesmaid … is the slight sheath/pencil skirt going to be the most flattering?

The 4 girls actually are all pretty petite and I had two of them try it on already. Super flattering to them.. they both loved it. And the color is sooo pretty! We are going to be using purple as our main accent colors for flowers and such so it looks really pretty together.

I love it! And I personally would wear that dress again (the holy grail of Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses!)
