I’m a major procrastinator and have for the most part not enjoyed wedding planning so I’ve procrastinated choosing a bridesmaid dress (that and my Maid/Matron of Honor was pregnant, lucky me she had her baby 11 days early and lost all but 7 lbs in less than 2 weeks but she’s prob lost it all now).
So here it is. This is one they voted on. Also, I wanted something from dept store, I knew I was not going to find what I liked at a bridal store or online. PLUS – I didn’t want them to spend a lot (lucked out that this clearanced out for less than $60).
Now I need to tell them what kind of shoes (nude? One girl suggestd gold or silver? My dress is champagne and lace/sparkle) AND I’m not sure if I’ll gift jewelry or just let them wear their own thing. I have ideas for gifts and would rather not gift jewelry for them to wear bc they prob won’t wear it again( I never did). Also, I like the thought that you shop like it’s their birthday

I’m of the mindset of letting the girls pick their own shoes, or at least heel height, but I also have broken both feet multiple times and I’m sort of wobbly so it’s kind of a sensitive issue for me…. but if I were choosing colors for that dress I would go for a metallic over nude.
I do think the dress is gorgeous! Your ladies are going to look fantastic

summerbride2016: Woohoo! Last time I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man the bride asked me to wear heels… in the mud and rain.. and during the procession where we had to walk across the dance floor I very nearly bit it in front of 200 people. Cause.. yea… I’m wobbly

That’s really pretty. I would suggest nude. I don’t think silver would go that well with your champagne dress, and gold will be much harder to find. Nude colored shoes can be found within many different styles and price ranges.

Thanks ladies…dresses came in yesterday (just 2 days after they were ordered, standard shipping). The girls love ’em! Hooray
