Basically im at the stage where i second guess everything, my girls love them- yet im starting to think theyre too blingy. Id struggle to replace them because funds are now low, but there are sales on..
So, opinions on the dresses- mainly the blingy neck area if you will 🙂 excuse my kitchen (ahem) and a lovely bridesmaid showing it off.

I love them 🙂 and the bling is fine, but I guess it depends on what the rest of your wedding is like?

Gorgeous dress you had really good taste

kreeneth : I like the bling! It’s not too subtle, not too out there

hmmm I think it’s too blingy. Unless your dress has bling on it, my eyes would definitely be drawn to them.

Personally, I think they look more like a prom dress than a bm dress but they are very pretty nonetheless! With their dresses being pretty blingy, I would try to carry that throughout your decor and accessories to balance them out. A little bling here, a little bling there, should be fine (:

mrsbevan2bee : My theme is loosely based on a starry night, navys, glittery placecards, skyline view potraits everywhere, so thats why i bought them- im just afraid the camera flash will white out the bling like some kind of hazard strip lol
smalltownbigworld : Thats starting to become my thought- prom dress, lovely dress… But maybe prom? My decor does have it throughout so they will match/blend in. I guess i just wanted timeless dresses?
mrsblueeyes : not sure whether a small sash on my dress counts as bling really, my dress is lace and tulle- the navy does compliment the gold in my dress though (i think) excuse the derp face!

I also think they’re a bit bligy & seem more like prom dresses! Have your girls purchased them already?
Your wedding dress though is to die for…beautiful!

Mellybobelly : im from the uk so ive bought the dresses for them, which is why im in a quandry over how id afford 5 more haha
i have been searching though, think i could stretch to 35pounds a girl but it limits me a lot! And in regards to my dress, thanks 😀 cant wait to wear it!!

I thought they may be a bit blingy at first, until you mentioned your starry night theme and posted your wedding dress. You look amazing, and my eyes would NOT be on your bridesmaids if I was at your wedding. I think the dresses will be lovely. Id talk to your photographer about it – but surely they should be able to deal with it? Blingy wedding dresses are pretty popular, and wedding photographers certainly get paid enough.

There’s something about that particular beading that’s not appealing to me but having said that I don’t think they’re unwearable or anything. Couldn’t you just remove the bling anyway? It looks to be beading sewn on
PS LOVE your dress. You look amazing

They are blingy, but it sounds like it suits your wedding theme perfectly. Don’t change them. Your first instinct is usually the right one, and your bridesmaid looks lovely in it. Gorgeous colour. You should keep them.

Yes a bit blingy but perfectly starry night ish. As pp above asid, go with your first thought its probably right.
Your dress is lovely btw . I think it would be even better without that sash, but I’m belt phobic on wedding dresses. If you had to have one, a tiny narrow row of stars maybe …..

Love your dress! I say no on the bridesmaids’ dresses unless you’re getting married at senior prom. Your dress is gorgeous, but those Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are tacky!

elderbee : Im also a bit belt phobic, but i had to admit that it gave me a waist- and if anything is going to help me in that department… Love the stars idea though! I found some tiny stars for my hair- so that would be cute!
BubblesandCupcakes : Im terrible at sticking with my guns, trying to change that though. I just want my girls to look and feel beautiful- which they do, thats what has stopped me from going out already and changing them!
Beegritte : Never considered removing the bling! Im taking them to the seamstress to be altered next week if i havent bought new ones, perhaps she can remove some of the bling on the shoulders. The belted part, my girls requested as they are fuller figured so feel better having something to define the waist.
Thankyou all so very much for your feedback, really giving me food for thought. And ofcourse thanks for the compliments on my dress ☺️
