OK this is a strange question, but i have a distant friend who got married (i wasn’t invited and there is very little overlap between us). a few of my bridesmaids were in her wedding, and i’m looking to do the same color dress that she did for my bridesmaids. But I feel really guilty asking my girls to buy another dress in the same color, especially since her dresses were really expensive! So i was contemplating letting them wear the dresses they wore and just having the other bridesmaids get similar dresses.
The problems? Well, i kind of want their dresses to be the same, and the ones they have are pretty different (same color and designer, that’s it). I could get over that. The other problem is that for the remaining girls, the designer’s dresses are way more than i wanted them to have to spend. But i think if the dresses are different, i would at least want them to be the same designer.
Should i try to work with what they have? or make everyone get new dresses? i’m trying to be mindful of the economy and save everyone some $. Any creative solutions would be helpful 🙂
