@phishy179:  I didn’t think that the fabrics had to match. My BM’s are wearing chiffon and my dress fabric won’t match. I say do you what you want!

I find chiffon to be the most flattering on anyone.  Didn’t match my dress either.

My bridesmaids are wearing luxe chiffon and I am wearing a silk satin dress, I think the mixed textures look nice. You will drive yourself crazy looking for a satin bridesmaid dress that matches exactly with your dress.

@phishy179:  I wore satin and I only had 1 Maid/Matron of Honor and she wore chiffon….totally fine! I don’t think it looked weird at all

Chiffon Bridesmaid or Best Man dress and my satin wedding dress….no worries it will all work out just fine!

@weddingbound:  You already know I love your dress, Wink, and I have to say your MOH’s dress is beautiful!  Gorgeous shade of pink too!

OP, I wouldn’t worry about it.  I never even bothered to look at that when I’ve looked at people’s wedding photos.  I think most girls will look and feel better in chiffon material too.  Satin can be tricky with some shapes.

I’m wearing silk, and BMs are wearing tulle. I think it will be ok.

I think it will be fine! I’ve been eyeing a few chiffon dresses for my girls, they are my favorite and probably what they will be wearing, but my dress is all lace. I agree with the previous posters who said that the fabrics don’t have to match, and chiffon is a very flatering fabric.

@weddingbound:  Damn!  That’s a really good price.  Mine paid around $170, but they weren’t complaining.  They were comfortable paying up to $200.

I rarely see BMs dress fabric match with the bride and I agree that chiffon is a very flattering fabric. I chose chiffon for my BMs bc of the diverse size ranges (sz 2-18)
