I have girls with different body types and this is my dress. It looks good on them all. It’s an aline spaghetti strap dress

Chiffon looks beautiful on all shapes, as long as the skirt isn’t too flowy.  The extra material can add pounds.  My bridesmaids are all different shapes and sizes and I assumed I would have to have different options.  Much to my surprise, all the girls fell in love with one dress and it looks great on all of them- from plus size, to twig thin, from boyish figures, to curves.  Everyone looks SO beautiful and elegant.  This is our dress.  It is Bill Levkoff 154.  It is a short dress, but I happen to know the designer makes the same dress in a long version as well

@Merlin29:  Infinity wrap dresses! My girls are both thin, but they carry their weight differently. The dresses we picked out together were just perfect & because they were loose fitting & could be tied any which way to accentuate or detract from whatever problem issue, they were perfect & made the girls feel really beautiful!

Chiffon is the most forgiving/flattering fabric. Satin and jersey are typically the worst. I had four girls, four very different size/heights/body shapes, so I gave them the page for chiffon dresses from Dressilyme, told them the color, and told them to pick whatever they wanted. My Maid/Matron of Honor wanted a one-shoulder, Bridesmaid or Best Man K wanted something flattering, Bridesmaid or Best Man A wanted something inexpensive, and Bridesmaid or Best Man S wanted something long.  S and I hit up David’s Bridal so that she could try some things on, and the dress that

@FutureArmyWife12:  posted was the most flattering on her. She ended up with something similar (the bodice was longer), and it looked fantastic.

@Merlin29:  I had 8.  I chose a fabric, color and length and they picked their shape.  I loved it and some of them have reworn their dresses.

I was going to do this dress until I changed my theme to Gatsby 🙂  My sisters both tried it on, one is 5’11” size 10/12 and pregnant, the other is 5’3″ size 6/8 and it was super flattering on both of them!  My pregnant sister didn’t even look like she had a belly in this gown.

I plan on having 4 bridesmaids..3 with a similar body type and one with a very different body type. I am going to choose a designer (leaning towards J Crew right now), a color and a fabric (for continuity) and then I am going to let them each choose their own dress. That way, no one will be uncomfortable, but everyone will still match!
