Hard to see from the front. How does it look from the back?

happybridetobee2017 :  If it were me I would get the size she is wearing. Unless it feels like its falling down or too tight. Visually looks good.

Beautiful dress and color! Is this you? It does look like it’s flattening your chest a bit. But it fits everywhere else!  Maybe try a more supportive bra to get the dress to sit higher. I am also a true size 14 so believe me, I can sympathize with the trials and tribulations of dress shopping! For the last wedding I was in, I ordered a size 16 to accomodate my chest but it was large in the body. Maybe ask the bridal shop if they have a bra you can try on with it.

I would size up and have it altered. The bust area looks too squished and it’s not flattering.

happybridetobee2017 :  It depends how SHE feels in it. Personally, I think it looks a little uncomfy so I would size up.

I personally wouldn’t want to feel like I was ‘overhanging’ at the back, if you know what I mean.

This same thing happened to me…honestly it is so tough. I tried on a 12 when I chose the dress with the bride (sister) but when I went to order it at a location in my city, I tried it on again just to see (like 5 days later) and it was tight! I tried on the size up, and it was MASSIVE. I ended up ordering the 12 because the alterations, particularly to the bust, would have been crazy. It ended up being slightly too big on the day. I was the same weight as the day I tried it on. Go figure. Haha

I would go for the smaller one if I were her!

It is way easier to take it in if it’s too big, but the options are limited if it’s too small. I would size up and have it altered so that you are sure it won’t be too snug when it comes in.
