Yes! I feel the same way. We rushed out to DB the week after I got engaged and every girl bought their dress in the same color, albet dif styles. Now I wish we had just gone to Anthropologie and picked out cute non matching dresses there… Gah! It drives me insane so I try not to think about it.

But, going back to your dresses, I think they’re cute. They’re very similar to what I’m doing. If you’re still feeling blah you should do what I’m doing and deck them out in really cool shoes/jewelry and accessories and let the dress be the canvas. Besides, I keep telling myself that a cute little dress like this will serve them well in life. Throw a pair of heels on and a sweater and its perfect for a date night.

Hope that helps. Don’t stress! ^_^

Yes!  I’ve been experiencing the same thing lately!  Only one of my BM’s have bought their dress though, and I’m thinking if I really want to change, i’ll pay for her other dress if I can afford it.  I haven’t found something I love more yet, but it’s definitely been on my mind lately!

You aren’t alone!  I do like your dress though…I think it’s very cute and will be flattering for many body types!

Good luck!

You could always accessorize them with flowers or brooches to make them less blah – I think it’s a great dress though, and that is the same type of fit I was looking for.

Big YES on regretting my choice for BM dresses – seriously just dawned on me that when I said, “And it’s totally wearable again,” That my Maid/Matron of Honor gave me a funny look with a nod.

I think it’s the length not the fit of ours – so one of my options is to have them all hemmed up, but it takes away from the character of the dress and why I fell in love with it in the first place.  10 minutes ago I emailed the dress shop and asked if it’s to late to change my mind since we ordered them on the 21st of Feb.

In the same color as the stock photo just like you.

I also think that since my Maid/Matron of Honor has a great body she can show off more of hers, but I know that 3 of the other gals will be more comfortable in something like this – but the tea length looks a little weird.

Frankly I don’t care what they do with them after the wedding, either.  I am hoping that because my Maid/Matron of Honor ordered a smaller size than the sample, that it will also be shorter.

UGHH!  So glad you posted, but I definately think you can put some glam with the dresses.  You could even get fun necklaces to make the look more “wow” the bib style or pearls with ribbon and flowers

I think that’s what I’m going to do, and I asked them to get plum colored shoes, so I think I am going to just accessorize them to make it not feel so “blah”

Good luck – no matter what, enjoy your big day!

We’re ordering Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses this weekend, but I wanted to say I think those dresses are cute and definitely can be worn again.

I totally understand! All I was thinking about was crossing something off my HUGE to-do list. I think, since they aren’t going to be wearing them again, you should def consider going all out on the shoes and accessories with splashes or color and design that you like, but they personally pick out and will wear again.

We’re doing vintage jewelry and bold shoes. I made sure every girl knew my rule when it came to accessories. If one girl is wearing a purple necklace, no one else can wear that color necklace. So if Bridesmaid or Best Man 1 is wearing a purple necklace, yellow shoes, and a grey fascinator Bridesmaid or Best Man 2 could wear a grey necklace, purple shoes, and a yellow fascinator. I’m trying to mix things up this way. Hopefully it works!

In the long run I wouldn’t worry too much because on your wedding day all eyes will be on you anyways!

I TOTALLY know what you mean, and am having similar bm dress regret (and posted about it earlier!)–except I haven’t even chosen one yet because I can’t make a darn decision. Everytime I think I’ve picked one out, I see another one that I like better. I’m just so frustrated at this point, I want the girls to make a decision for themselves. But they keep telling me I”m the bride, I get to pick. Easier said than done! I just feel like the dresses I tend to gravitate toward are so far off from all the weddings I see featured on blogs and websites–not vintage, not rewearable,  it’s not whimsical; which makes me second guess all my choices.

If it helps at all, I really like the dress you picked, especially for a summer wedding. It totally fits the fun/flirty/whimsical look that I can’t quite seem to manage!
