I think it’s a very pretty dress and you and the bees are right on with accessorizing. The accessory can give it a little extra visual texture (sash, sparkle, shine, etc.) and it will really look great. And I’m guessing you’ll have bouquets, too, so there will be more visual texture in the photos from that as well.

I think that dress is very pretty.  I completely agree with the ladies above, that if you are unsure about the look fo the dress add accessories…a belt, flowers, etc.  Good luck!

Hey Ladies,

I’ve been looking at bridesmaid dresses for the past 4 months!!!  I finally “decided” on few styles in the Dessy line all in the same color and told the gals to start choosing, but not to order yet…  Since then, I found out that 2 of my maids are expecting, so I went to a bridal store to look at maternity options in the Dessy line and also tried on a couple of the dresses that I had picked out…I didn’t like them in person AT ALL, and I definitely couldn’t see myself “wearing one of them again.”

SOOO, now I am considering to just tell my gals to go out and pick their own dresses (Nordstroms, JCrew, Anthropologie, the like) in light blue…  My concern is that I can’t find a lot of light blue dresses that I think are cute, so will they be able to??

I love the yellow print dresses posted above at Nordstroms… I am honestly tempted to change my colors just based on those dresses!!  Is that crazy?!

I’d love to hear your thoughts/suggestions on having girls just find their own dresses, and any maternity options (they will both be 3rd tri).

Thanks, ladies!

I I agree w the other posters- let them get really awesome jewlery and shoes (all different). I LOVE anthropogie jewlery but it can get pricey-wait for the sales!

I actually really like this dress. If you let them choose their own funky jewelry and shoes, it would be fabulous!
