I went shopping at Ritche on Avenue Road, and while their bridal gown selection is great, I was very underwhelmed with their bridesmaid dresses. They have lots, but they are not very nice lol.

We ended up going to Guelph at a store called Ladybug bridal, and getting our dresses there. The shop is smaller, but the overall selection was much better, and they gave us a discount on the dresses!

I went to David’s Bridal in Mississauga for my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. I had already decided which ones (and colour) so I brought the girls in to find the right size. It was easy and quick.

A friend of mine went to a store in Milton called “The Perfect Dress” and she said they were great. Milton is just outside Mississauga, so it’s not too far.

The Perfect Dress was on our list of stores to go to, but we ended up finding what we needed before that appointment!

Diva Boutique downtown Toronto, the staff are amazing and soooo professional yet funny and friendly, great selection and you get private one on one appointments so you and your girls arent coming out of the changerooms with like 15 other girls like you are at a place like Davids Bridal. Beautiful dresses, and different stuff like multicolour, beaded dresses, sequins and plain stuff too. I highly recommend it

Have you tried Windfall Brides in Etobicoke? They have a ton of dresses and sometimes they have blowout sales. Wedding dresses start at $100 and Bridesmaid or Best Man start at $25. Great deals and all the money goes to charity.

The only con….sometimes it’s hard to find the same dress or the sizes you want. It’s a what you see is what you get deal.

I chose the Alfred Sung line of Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from Dessy.com because they had a ton of styles, the fabric was forgiving for all sizes and the line is carried in a ton of bridal salons across the country.  My Maid/Matron of Honor is in Victoria BC, two BMs are in Toronto and another is in Waterloo so it needed to be as easy as possible.  I liked that I could let the ladies choose their own styles and still be confident it would look good.  I chose Duipioni fabric in Niagara.
