Truthfully, I’m not a fan of the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. I get you want to tie it in to the retro vibe of the venue, but I think this dress just clashes with the fomality of the wedding dress and the church. Sorry. =(

I’m sorry, but I have to agree with the PPs. I think the style of the dress is fine, but I am not so much a fan of the colors or the fact that it’s two toned!

remember though…there is no law that says that your wedding dress has to match the bridesmaid dresses. I think that is some marketing ploy that the bridal industry is trying to sell us to make us buy overpriced dresses. in fact….i think it looks better if youre not too matchy matchy you know?

    You need this dress http://www.anntaylor.com/ann/product/AT-Weddings-%26-Events/AT-Bridesmaid-Dresses/Bustier-Strapless-Dress/258975?colorExplode=false&skuId=89521311&catid=cat370056&productPageType=saleProducts&defaultColor=9244

40% off makes it under $100 and it comes in navy and coral. I love the navy, it is so classic yet modern and chic. They also have other dresses in navy that are nice as well.

Not a fan of the two-toned Bridesmaid or Best Man dress either. I think a chiffon dress for your BMs would go well with the “delicate” lace look of your dress.

Your dress and venue are gorgeous — that’s not the problem! Like the others, I don’t like the 2-tone thing going on in the pic you posted… that dress just doesn’t fit with the romantic, traditional vibe you’ve got going. I think just about any classic, simple dress would work for your BMs. I like the one VanillaNut posted, maybe in either a dark color or a neutral?
