Black and white print is supposed to be very trendy for this year.  I like the idea.  I even believe that one of the bee’s is doing black and white with green accents.

Good luck !

I was staying away from prints on bridesmaids dresses also. I, too, only have 1 Maid/Matron of Honor so I don’t have to worry too much about matching or styles but I thought that putting her in a print would date the pictures 10, 20 years down the road. That said, I checked out the dress you linked above and I think you are definately safe with that. I think that is kind of a timeless print (if such a thing exists! ) It’s not too ‘loud’ and from afar looks less printy and more monotone. Plus black and white prints are less likely to look dated than different coloured prints. It’s a really cute dress and I could see it still being cute many years down the road!

i prefer this dress:

in my opinion, it personifies the meaning of "timeless" more to the T.

MissH808: No idea! I can’t even decide on colours yet, I keep going back and forth! I’m flying home in May and I’m planning to go shopping with her to find something. Until then I’ll keep searching for inspiration. 🙂

As long as you only have one bridesmaid, I think it’s fine to do a print. You never know what will look dated down the road – so one color is probably more dependable – but I don’t see this as a dress that would be like that.
