Nordstrom is currently having a sale.  I just purchased my bridesmaid dresses for only $48 each!  Here’s the link to the dresses I bought: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2971980/0~2376788~6002242~6007533~6007554?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=6007554&P=1 You should definitely check out Nordstrom’s and Macy’s online sales!  Don’t hesitate and just order ASAP because the smaller dress sizes usually runs out quick!

Personally, I would try my best to avoid the bridal shops in Garden Grove because they usually never honor their contracts/quotes.  When shopping around, I went to Amy’s Bridal in Garden Grove and was quoted a certain amount for dresses/tuxedos rental, but later was told the quotes given to me earlier were wrong and was given a new quote that was much, much higher.  I simply left and never came back!  You would fare better dealing with the bridal shops in Temple City on Las Tunas Drive.

I just purchased my BMs dresses from White House Black Market.  They were having a sale on a dress I’ve had my eye on for awhile and I was able to get all the sizes I needed for about $70 a dress.  Compared to other prices I’ve seen, this is extremely reasonable.  The girls like them, and they didn’t break the bank.  The store was great to work with too.  I highly recommend checking them out!  Good luck!

Nordstroms is a great idea!! They will probably have a nice dress in your color on sale.

Is it completely wrong to ask your BMs to pay for their dresses?

This may not be your taste or may not suit the look of your event, but a neat idea is going to a vintage store and choosing a few dresses that are in the same color family. Personally, I love the sillouhettes and quality of vintage dresses. It would be different, stylish, and elegant!

no, i don’t have any experience with them, but if you pick good bridesmaids dresses that they’ll keep then have them buy them. i wouldn’t want to wear anything rented. anthropologie has incredible dresses, and dresses that people would wear over and over again. they aren’t those hideous puff sleeved nightmares from the 80’s, but elegant dresses that bring elegance to your wedding day.
