I know mixing up colors/dresses is a HUGE trend right now. I, personally, like the look of just one dress for all of them, but that’s not to say that I don’t think it looks good when they’re all different. Maybe talk to you Maid/Matron of Honor and see what she thinks, so she can maybe speak for the rest of your BMs.

I think it’s great! I love that it’s becoming more popular to just give the BM’s a color or a style of dress and let them pick it out on their own – it lets them be more individual and it looks awesome!

I’m doing something similar…we’re doing all the same color, but different styles.  I think it’s going to look great :o)

I think it’s a pretty well-liked trend around here to let your girls pick their dresses. I really do like pictures of bridesmaids with dif. dresses out of the same color palette. I love it. Especially works well with different sized/colored girls

That’s what I’m doing, so I’m going to be biased, but I think it’s great!  It’s so nice for your girls to have some freedom and wear what they feel good in.  I say go for it!
