I recently fell in LOVE with the Watters and Watters Bridesmaid collection because they have texture in their dresses…problem though–they’re really expensive and I can’t ask my bridesmaids to fork that kind of money over (my sisters are 15 and 17 and my best friend is already spending a boatload flying back and forth across the country–she lives in CA and I recently moved to TN).
I would love to know if you guys know of any other dress designers that are less expensive and have texture. I’m having a fall wedding and I think texture is going to make the dresses spectacular. Not to mention, I really don’t want them to look like they’re going to prom!

Are there any specific dresses from the collection that you like? If you can post some examples of specific ones, it may be easier to pinpoint similar styles 🙂

It would be easier if we know what type of dresses you’re actually interested in and then we can recommend something else.

I love the Watters Bridesmaid collections too! I found that place like Nordstroms or Anthropology have nice textured dress that arent prom-like! Anthropology can be pricey, but they have great dresses on sale too!

Good point about leaving some specific pictures up. I’m looking for texture within the fabric–not so much flowers or anything (leave that to the bridal gown!!)
here are some links to my favorite dresses from Watters (and one from wtoo)
Sorry, I’m not all that sure how to post pictures up?
Thanks for your help! I love that “dupoini silk” fabric. It’s awesome!
