HI ATL B’s!
I need your help. This has to be the hardest decision that I have made in a while… I need help picking my dresses for my Bridesmaid or Best Man. My wedding is Black and white. I don’t have a specific theme for my decor. I have been drawing inspiration from Chanel, thinking modern vintage. I want to keep the dresses at cocktail length since my wedding is on a friday night, so fun is a definite must!!! I really want my maids to look great… what should I do?
Dress #1 or….

Dress#2

Why not let them choose between both? I could see each one working on different body types.
Btw, where are they from? I especially love that 2nd one! So chic!

I voted two. It’s so classic and can be worn 100 more times!!! It’s so great, where is it from?

I prefer 2. Number 1 would look hideous on me because I have boobs. I’d look so, so, so exaggerated. So unless all your maids are flat, I’d go with the second one.

I prefer 2, but I agree with the first response, let them chose, if that’s your style.

@abirdword: I would let them choose, but I only three girls in my wedding. 1MH and 2 Bridesmaid or Best Man. I feel it would look funny, but not sure.

@mu_t: check out forherandforhim.com, they are actually having a great sale on dresses until November 30th. Plus they also can make custom sizes, so that helps with alterations for later.

dress two, it’s classic, and most important it would flatter any body type. Not to mention they would have a great LBD for future wear.

Why not let them pick their own LBD to wear? Just specify the length and have them send you a picture before they buy it. That way they can definitely wear the dress again.

I wore a gown in the same material and by the same designer as #1 and it was AWFUL. It looked so flattering on the model and then when it arrived the material was thick and it was poofy. Really unflattering.

I don’t really like either for a bridesmaids dress.
