Do what works for you! I had similar problems with a friend of mines wedding (she lived in Tenn. but was having her wedding in FL). I would also suggest Alfred Angelo! They have really pretty dresses as well!

I tried on my girls’ Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. I wanted to see how it would look on the girls who had a figure like mine (hippy, as opposed to my busty Maid/Matron of Honor who had been trying the dresses on). Also, I wanted to see what the dress would look like next to the MOH’s dress.

Not weird at all – I’ve done it when I was looking but unable to have my Bridesmaid or Best Man with me! Definitlely check the colors out in person!

Also, if you dont want to do DB, you can always pick the dress(es) out and have your ladies go into a local bridal salon that carries the dress to try it on and get measured, then you can order all the dresses at once with their measurements to ensure they will all be the same color!

None of my BM’s could make it into NY when I had an appointment at J Crew, so I tried on dresses! All of them are smaller than me, so I figured if it looked good on me, it would work on them!
