hi! i’m a newbee here so i hope this post is in the right place.
my original plan for my bridesmaids was to have them wear a dress in either of our colors (poppy and mint green), letting them pick one of the colors out of a hat and whatever they get is what they wear. a few of the bridesmaids didn’t like the idea, saying that i should pick at least 3 dresses and assign them to certain bridesmaids. me, being the people pleaser, revised my decision and now i’m having them wear chiffon mint green skirts (any length except super mini skirt) and their choice of a cream blouse. most of them are happy, i think.
now…my fiance is complaining that my bridal party is not going to look sharp because i’m giving the bridal party so much flexibility in what to wear. he’s saying that he’s compromised with me by letting me pick 6 girls and 1 guy, because he originally wanted 4 total…so i should let him have a say to what the girls get to wear. it’s MY bridal party! i have an opinion about what his guys have to wear but i’m not pushing him because i know that it’s his men that he is choosing for.
ugh i’m torn. one of the girls already bought their skirts. now what?
