    Coleerenee:  Me too! I prefer how silk/satin looks or even silk mikado looks. Chiffon is sometimes so dull :/ plus satin gives me better shades for the colours I want as opposed to chiffon.

    Wannabe-diy-bride:  have you looked into any other lines? I had alfred sung dresses and they had 2 fabrics that were a mix… there was one that was more “matte” looking but it was structured called Dupioni? and the other that I chose was a super lightweight fabric that had the SHINE of satin but without all the downsides….called Peau De Soie? I loved the look of satin but its so heavy and shows everything depending on style, and chiffon can look dull/dusty…the description online says its dull, but its not, its dull-er then reg satin but my girls were shiney. I can attach a pic if you wanna see

    anywho just some food for thought….unless your dead set on a particular dress
