@bran83:

my BMs also range in height and shape….and I hoped for a dark grey w a little shimmer too. 🙂 great bee minds think alike! We ended up going w two birds in their slate color…it’s a dark gray but the fabric is a silk viscose so it has a shine to it. The girls love the dresses bc they can style it one shoulder, sleeveless, cap slv and about 15 other ways and the fabric is has stretch and super comfy. One bm chose the long length version and it looks fantastic on her. Pricewise, it’s an investment ( with tax, about 280), but at least they can wear it again. Hope that helps!

I would look at Amsale.com.  They have stunning dresses that work great on all body types. I’d totally use them if they had the color I was looking for!

We ended up choosing Bill Levkoff 587 in Euro Pewter (satin material, but not clingy).  I thought it was important for curvier bridesmaids to look good first, so I had them look for dresses that complimented their shape well.  Super cute dress.
