If they ordered the wrong size or gained weight, that’s on them.

@Clueless5656:  They had plenty of time to go there and get measured.  You can go by a chart, but not everyone knows how to measure themselves properly at home.  Also, every woman’s body is different (large chest and small waist will probably translate into a larger dress size to accomodate the larger chest).  If the girls had gone, the professionals would have been better able to assess their accurate sizes.  That’s just my two cents, lol.

I agree, I gaurantee that the bridal store told the girls that the store wouldn’t be responsible for any wrong measurements causing the wrong size.  As with any non-refundable/retrunable purchase, the girls took a certain risk to order and forgoing the professional sizing added to that risk.  It sounds harsh but it really isn’t your fault or problem.

So the girls took their own measurements and called it into the store? Ya, I feel like there is bound to be an error when that happens.

@Clueless5656:  Yes exactly. They didn’t even have to go to the same store, any professional tailor could have properly measured them. I have a bridesmaid who lives 4 provinces away. Obviously she couldn’t come to the store we ordered from to get measured, but she still went to a bridal store and got her measurements done before phoning them in! It is not your fault they got their measurements wrong.
