We are using this dress from Alfred Angelo (#7056)…I have three girls wearing it, ages 29-44, sizes 2, 18, and 24…it makes my sister (the bigger of the three) look way smaller than she is. AA also has a ton of options for wraps/boleros to go with it. We narrowed it down to about 7 dresses at AA that all three girls liked and felt comfortable in — so plenty of options.

As much as I do not like David’s Bridal (because of them giving out my email and phone number to everyone and their moms), they’re the best place to look for bridesmaid dresses – they carry plum (the ones we picked were plum) and they have ALL sizes of dresses to try on.  My smallest bridesmaid was like a 6 (street size 4) and my largest, a size 18 (street size 12-14) and they could accomodate all.

@Thea S:  I have the same problem! I have everyone from short and stocky, tall and skinny, to a 38 week preggo BM!!!! The dresses I found are from Bill Levkoff. Style #113. Take a look on http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com and find them at a discount! GREAT dresses there! Have been in contact with them and some other bees. They are a reputable company and instead of paying $240 from a local bridal salon, they are ordering them for $154!!! Hope this helps!

We chose this dress from David’s Bridal. My bridesmaids range in size from a 4 to a 16 and this dress looked good on all of them. They also range in height from 5’2″ to 5’11” and the length was great.

@Thea S:  I posted on another post asking about wedding shoppe and it is an actual “storefront” in Minnesota and one of the best from what other bees told me from their actual experiences! I also called and they were super friendly and helpful. You can search it on here and find more info if you want, but it came highly recommended!

@Colieee34:  Yes I gotta go back there and their customer service is not that great down here but in Dallas they were very nice to us. I’m going to go with this dress if the one I’m in love with doesnt flatter everyone’s body type which is this one:

I vote infinity dreses. We are having a modified version made custom and everyone can wear it how they like. My step mom insists my little sister is more covered up and my bridesmaids are all sizes and they work great.

I got my BMs the Dessy Convertible Twist Wrap Dress.  Both my BMs are plus size and they both love that they can wear the dress in whatever way suits them best.  The dress comes in plum and long and short lengths.

@lindseyl06:  Yeah, I liked that one alot too! I tried it on, and im pretty sure that was the dress that made one boob look bigger then the other. . I know, so weird. But on me, it totally made them look different lol
