I went with the same Alfred Angelo dress for all of them.  It looks good on my plus sized girl and the mini girl.  It’s flowy though.

Ahh I know it’s kind of late for this one… but if you’re still looking, Aria bridesmaids are fab! of course, you know David’s Bridal, and I believe Alexia has plus size too–they’re all pretty decent. I’m partial to Aria because I’m about to order my wedding dress there 😀

my first thought is David’s Bridal.  you could pick a color then let them decide.  i agree that a pashmina might be the best way to cover BM’s arms.  maybe something sheer if it is going to be hot.

i am in the same boat as you…..I have a Maid/Matron of Honor who is a size 14 and 5-8…then a maid who is 5-0 and is a size 2, and another who is 5-2 and a size 10….and then ther is the wild card  a 5-2  lady who wears a 28..  it is a horrible night mare..it took me 3 weeks to just get her measurements so that i coudl just look for a dress or 2 that would possibly fit all of them.

I gave up ont he idea of matching dresses since the large lady is being a bit less than cooperative..she took 3 weeks to just give me measurements…thank good ness i insisted on measurements rather than acccepting her “size of a 22”  as per the measurement scale she is a 28-30 and well she wants a dress that covers up her arms…that doesnt cling to her body…and that well basically wouldnt be accceptable tto the other lady’s in the bridal party at all..

I have opted to have the lady’s each choose 1 designer that they like that has the dresses in the vast descrepancy of sizes….and then I will choose the color and the legth….then each can choose their own dress.

I couldnt believe the hoorid dresses that she had chosen out when she thought she would have an input int he color and the type of dress ….it was basically a tent….she may want to wear a tent and pay for it…but i have 3 other women with nice figures that are confidant in their body image…why she would think i would peanalize the other 3 women becasue she wasnt confident in her own….is beyon me…did i mention she is the Fiance’s siter to boot?? and I keep getting comments fromt he future mother in law about the maid  wanting xyz??

I was going to pull a bridezila if i heard 1 more time abotu what she wanted…i told the mom that when i chose the designer/manufacturer then she could choose what ever dress in the fabirn and length of MY choice!!! that way she can have soome control over things but not to the point of her wearing t shirt fabric to the wedding!!!

I echo the David’s comment.  I have bridemaids that range from 4’11″/size 0 to 5’9″/size 14.  I’m just telling them watermelon, cocktail length and they can pick whatever they want.  Plus they’re scattered all over the tri-state area and there’s a David’s everywhere.

I got my BMs dresses from Eden Bridal and they looked great on EVERYONE (and I have two BMs who are tall and slim, two average and one plus sized). We got this dress, style 7250
