First of all I LOVE your dress. It’s stunning. Second, I wouldn’t worry about your dress “matching” or “clashing” against the bridesmaids. It’s not meant to be matchy matchy. You’re a bride so of course yoru dress is different than theirs. It will look awesome together because you’re a gorgeous bride in a gorgeous dress and they are pretty BMs in pretty Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. You can choose any Bridesmaid or Best Man dress and it will compliment 🙂 As for the ladies shapes, when I was heavier my cousin gave us a color and a fabric and let us pick our own silhouette. (when I was in her wedding). That is very common. Then each girl can pick what she is most comfortable in. And her price point.

ETA I realise I’ve already commented . Ah well, I’ll let it stand , nothing wrong with a double compliment eh?

I smile every time I see your lovely picture . You all look SO good.

elderbee: thank you so so so much!! I loved the way it turned out and would suggest to anyone to go that route. The ladies loved their dresses and were excited to wear them, much to my surprise! One hadn’t been in a wedding before, one hadn’t ever worn a formal Bridesmaid or Best Man dress, and one was super happy to fit into one after lots of maternity dress struggles(she was preg with twins)!!! I kinda wish I had one of the dresses too lol!!

I also used convertible dress, Transformer dress http://www.amazon.com/Vonvonni-Womens-Transformer-Long-Dress/dp/B00EHW8P6I. My BMs ranged from 5’2 to 6′, XS to XL, and they all have no problem. It fits everyone has many different color, no tailor necessary, and is cheap (<$50). I don’t know about other convertible dress, but I think the Transformer dress has many material, hence looks pretty good even on bigger size. This girl’s review is the one that make me feel ok to have Transformer dress for Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. https://sandpaperkissesblog.com/tag/von-vonni/ ; https://sandpaperkissesblog.com/2013/01/03/sale-alert-von-vonni-transformer-dresses-on-ideeli-today/

I got these from Tulle and Chantilly and they look amazing on all of my bridesmaids, who are very different sizes. They have similar dress styles everywhere as well, such as David’s, although I can’t say enough good things about T&C!

My bridesmaids each chose their own dresses, so they could be in whichever price range they wanted, in whichever style they felt most comfortable. The dresses they chose ranged from $50-$180.

Are you opposed to having them in different styles since they are different body types? Or maybe just choose 2 styles, and have them each choose which one they like? As far as color goes, as long as it’s different from yours, I don’t think anything will take away from your dress. Everyone is there to see you!
